transformers - an intuitive technical understanding

My goal is to provide an intuitive first understanding of the architecture that has taken the world by storm — the Transformer. The architecture can look intimidating at first, but i hope to clear up some of the most confusing parts.

This technology is progressing at such a fast past right now. The amount of scientists entering the field needs to catch up so we can keep moving forward in a safe and responsible manner with diverse ideas and perspectives! :)
